Some Ideas For You.
There are many ways in which you can help - below are some suggestions that you can try. If you need more ideas or already have an idea in mind, give us a call and we can talk through the idea with you.
Sponsored Events
If you would like to organise and run an event, why not get people to join you and obtain sponsorship from the public, friends and family? For example, sponsored walks, marathons, or even sponsored swimming for the kids. There are many types of events for which you can obtain sponsorship - give it a go and let us know what you are planning and we will be able to offer any help required.
House Party
Organise an afternoon tea party at your house. Ask your friends / family / neighbours to bring snacks, cakes, biscuits and drinks. Charge everyone £1 entrance fee and have a great time. Collect the proceeds and send to us. We will send you a receipt and a certificate of appreciation. Let all your participants know that they made a real difference to the less-fortunate living in the UK.
Charity Dinner
We can help you to arrange a charity fundraising dinner in your local community. We have wealth of experience in arranging and running such events and we can help you from inception of the idea to how to run it on the day. Get in touch today and make a real difference to those that need it most.
In Schools
If you attend school or have children who attend school, why not arrange a non-uniform day? Contact the headteacher or the teacher responsible for such things, promote the idea of how you would like children to understand the importance of helping the local community and ask them for their assistance. Simply charge each child £1 for the luxury of attending school in non-uniform. After the event, send the proceeds to MCUK and we will send a receipt and a certificate of appreciation that the school could display at it's premises.
£3 DD Appeal
A DD for only £3 per month (that's just 10p a day) can provide one meal for one homeless person EVERY WEEK.
Setup a £3 direct debit today and help to alleviate their suffering.
